I am Carol Giuliani, the owner of Senior Travel Companion Services, and I provide customized trip planning and travel escort for individual seniors and couples.  I live in a suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota, U.S.A.  I'm married and raised three sons to adulthood.

My decades of caregiving experience began when I was 22 and my dad had a stroke. After working as a federal law clerk and  attorney for over ten years, I became a professional fiduciary/guardian/POA/trustee and managed the finances and health care decisions of seniors for over 27 years.  I have traveled to all 50 states, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, South and Central America, Africa, Australia and some places you probably haven't heard of.

Eight years ago, I decided to combine my talents to create Senior Travel Companion Services to help seniors get safely and comfortably  to their desired destinations.

Since then, I have planned and executed over 125 domestic and international trips with people who are able-bodied as well as those with dementia, anxiety, Parkinson's disease, partial paralysis, ostomy bags and catheters, vision and hearing loss, cancer, limited mobility and other mental and/or physical situations requiring help or supervision.  My travelers' ages have ranged from 26 to 96, and together we have been to 42 states and 14 foreign countries.

These trips include cross-country or international moves, weddings, and vacations. The trips can be one day/one way up to vacations lasting a week or more. This is a door-to-door service provided personally by me, as I have the unique combination of both extensive travel and senior carer experience to successfully accomplish a move or long distance trip.

A bonus:  I achieved Delta Diamond and United Airlines Premier Silver status again in 2024, which means that my traveling companion often receives a complimentary upgrade with me to Comfort+ or First Class.

I also volunteer on an international committee which is working to make airports more accessible and friendly towards seniors and people with hidden disabilities; and in my spare time, train and certify others desiring to become professional travel companions.
